Wombaroo Bottle Teat F - Puppy

Wombaroo Teat F is a natural latex feeding teat with a rounded, bulbous nipple, specially shaped for hand-rearing flying foxes and also suitable for some breeds of dog.

The teat is designed to provide a more natural mouth fit during bottle feeding and can be used with a Wombaroo Feeding Bottle or other bottles with a neck diameter of approximately 18–24mm. Because it is supplied without a pre-made hole, you can customise the opening to suit the size of the animal and the required milk flow. Wombaroo Passwell

How to Prepare

The teat is supplied without a hole.

Pierce the tip with a hot needle to create an opening of around 1mm. For larger animals, the opening may need to be enlarged carefully.

When the bottle is inverted, milk should drip slowly rather than flow freely. If the animal has to suck excessively hard, the opening may be too small. Wombaroo Passwell

Feeding Tip

Choose a teat that closely matches the mother’s teat in size and shape for a comfortable fit.

Correct feeding technique is especially important with hand-reared animals, so seek guidance from an experienced carer or veterinarian if you are unsure.

Care & Storage

Wash immediately after use in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Store in a dry, dark place, ideally in an opaque airtight container. As latex is a natural material, correct storage helps slow deterioration. Wombaroo Passwell
