Wombaroo Bottle Teat D - Puppy

Wombaroo Teat D is a natural latex feeding teat with a broader sleeve and medium-sized nipple, designed for hand-rearing larger young animals.

The teat is shaped to provide a comfortable fit in the mouth while allowing carers to control milk flow according to the size and feeding needs of the animal. It fits bottles with a neck diameter of approximately 26mm, including many standard soft drink bottles.

Because the teat is supplied without a pre-made hole, the opening can be customised to suit the individual animal.

How to Prepare

The teat is supplied without a hole.

Pierce the tip with a hot needle to create an opening of approximately 1mm. For larger animals, the opening may need to be enlarged carefully.

When the bottle is inverted, milk should drip slowly rather than flow freely.

Feeding Tip

Choose a teat that closely resembles the mother’s teat in size and shape to help provide a comfortable fit.

If the hole is too small, excessive sucking can weaken the teat tip. Increase the opening slightly if necessary, while making sure milk does not flow too quickly.

Care & Storage

Wash immediately after use with warm soapy water, rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly.

Store in a dry, dark place, preferably inside an opaque airtight container. As latex is a natural material, correct storage helps slow deterioration.
