Wombaroo - Bottle Teat C - Small Kitten/Rabbit

Wombaroo Teat C is a small latex feeding teat designed for hand-rearing young animals, including kittens, rabbits and carnivorous marsupials.

Its small nipple shape is designed to better suit smaller mouths, helping provide a more natural and comfortable feeding experience. The teat can be fitted to a Wombaroo Feeding Bottle or other bottles with a neck diameter of approximately 18–24mm.

Because the teat is supplied without a pre-made hole, you can create an opening that suits the size and feeding needs of the animal being cared for.

Why we love it

• Small teat designed for young animals
• Suitable for kittens, rabbits and carnivorous marsupials
• Soft natural latex construction
• Fits Wombaroo Feeding Bottles
• Also fits bottles with an 18–24mm neck diameter
• Hole can be customised to suit the animal and milk flow
• Can also be fitted over a syringe for greater feeding control with very small animals
• Handy for breeders, rescue carers and hand-rearing situations

How to Prepare

Wombaroo teats are supplied without a hole.

Pierce the tip with a hot needle to create an opening of approximately 1mm, then adjust if necessary to suit the animal being fed.

When the bottle is inverted, the milk should drip slowly rather than flow freely.

Feeding Tip

The teat should be appropriate for the animal’s mouth size and shape. For very small animals, the teat can be fitted over the end of a syringe to give greater control over the flow of milk.

Care should always be taken when hand-rearing young animals, as feeding technique and milk flow are important to help reduce the risk of aspiration.

Care & Storage

Wash the teat in warm soapy water immediately after use and allow it to dry thoroughly.

Store in a dry, dark place, preferably inside an opaque airtight container. As latex is a natural material, correct storage will help slow deterioration.
