Keep your aquarium glass clean and clear with the Seachem 3-in-1 Algae Scraper. Compact, lightweight and easy to handle, this 15cm scraper is a handy tool for removing algae from smaller aquariums or those tighter corners that can be hard to reach.
Designed for both glass and acrylic aquariums, the Seachem Algae Scraper includes three cleaning options: a metal blade, plastic blade and soft pad. This gives you the flexibility to choose the right scraper surface for your tank type and the algae you are removing. Seachem notes that the metal blade is suitable for glass only, while the soft pad is the safest option for acrylic aquariums.

Blade Guide
Metal Blade
Best for removing tougher algae from glass aquariums only. Do not use the metal blade on acrylic, as it may scratch.
Plastic Blade
Suitable for glass and acrylic, but use care around the gravel line to avoid scratching, especially on acrylic tanks.
Soft Pad
The best starting option for acrylic aquariums and lighter algae cleaning.
Size
15cm
How to Use
Choose the blade or pad that best suits your aquarium type. Gently scrape algae from the inside of the tank, taking extra care around the gravel line where trapped grit can scratch the glass or acrylic. Rinse the scraper after use and allow it to dry before storing.
Pet Patch Tip
For acrylic tanks, always start with the soft pad and avoid pressing hard. Even small pieces of sand or gravel caught under a scraper can leave marks, so take your time around the bottom edges of the aquarium.
