Nutriblend Small Pellets

Nutriblend Pellets were formulated by avian veterinarians as a palatable, balanced diet that helps maintain a healthy weight. These fruit-flavoured, multi-coloured pellets promote better acceptance by seed-eating birds and provide scientifically formulated nutrition for optimum feather development, tissue and brain function.

Feeding Guidelines

Nutriblend should be fed as your bird's primary diet (80% of daily feed consumed). The remaining 20% should be made up of healthy fruit and vegetables (15%) and treat foods such as nuts and seeds (5%).

Daily Pellet Recommendation

Vetafarm recommends parrots are fed a minimum of 10% of their bodyweight in pellets per day:

• 100g Ringneck (or similar): provide a minimum 10g Nutriblend per day
• 250g Alexandrine (or similar): provide a minimum 25g Nutriblend per day

These feeding recommendations should be used as a guide only. Consult your veterinarian for more specific information if your bird has special dietary needs due to a health condition.

Whole grains (soybean, wheat and maize), soy protein isolate, oat fibre, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H & K), choline, minerals (calcium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur and zinc), fruity flavours (apple, blueberry & raspberry), amino acids (lysine & methionine), vegetable oils, and natural organic acids.
